How to Organize Instagram Bookmarks into Private Collections

For those who would like to organize their bookmarks into specific folders, the version 10.16 update for the Instagram application will introduce a Pinterest-like feature called “Collections” to the mix.

Here’s how you can utilise this feature:

  1. Upon updating your Instagram app, go to your profile, tap on the Bookmark icon and select the Collections tab.

  2. From there, you can choose to open a new Collection by tapping on the “Create Collection” prompt, or via the Plus icon located at the upper right hand corner of the screen.

  3. Once you’ve created a Collection, you’ll be prompted to move some of your saved posts into the Collection.

  4. You’ll also be able to bookmark posts directly into the Collection by tapping and holding the Bookmark icon located under a post.
